* Religion in the Margins

Religion is interwoven into the fabric of our lives, so much so that we tend not to notice it, or at least I don’t. Religion has permeated most of my life from growing up in a traditional Baptist family, to questioning Christianity and exploring other faiths in my early twenties, which led me on to study for ministry in the Christian Church, and then directed me away from ordained ministry. As a result I am not sure how to exactly define my religious spiritual self, other than I do not fit in a box or a church for that matter, however I do still find the sacred in the realms of every day life and find comfort in the Christian liturgy and Church calendar. This blog therefore is a place for me to share some of those findings and thoughts; it is hard to determine at the outset where this blog may be headed… but I welcome you to share, whether in part or in entirety, this jaunt.
